As cofounder and Architect at spongecell.com, I gained over three years of extensive experience with Ruby on Rails and MySQL (11 years programming total including C/C++/C# and Java), particularly with back-end database optimization, gathering analytics data, caching, and tuning high traffic Ruby on Rails websites. I am excited to be speaking at both the MySQL Conference and RailsConf this month and will be available early May.
